Shallece Saleen
Shallece Saleen Peters is a highly accomplished soprano, teacher, and studio owner with over 14 years of experience in the field of singing. She holds a Master of Music in Voice and Opera from Northwestern University's Bienen School of Music and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance from UW-Milwaukee. Shallece is currently an Associate Lecturer of Voice at UW-Milwaukee and the owner of Shallece Saleen Studios - Fine Arts Academy in Muskego, WI. Her extensive teaching experience includes directing and music directing musicals including Newsies, Legally Blonde, Mean Girls, Anything Goes, and Matilda.
Shallece is an active performer and has won numerous awards for her work in opera, art songs, concerts, and musical theater productions. She was most recently seen as a soloist in Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass with the Janesville Choral Unio. Other performance credits include Brahms’ Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, and John Rutter's Requiem.
