Aaliyah Schoclet

Aaliyah Schoclet, Soprano, is very excited to join the Shallece Saleen Studio- Fine Arts Academy as a voice and piano instructor! Ms. Schoclet received her Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in Voice Performance from the University of Texas at San Antonio. 


After leaving her home state of Texas, she moved to Wisconsin where she received her Master of Music Degree from UW-Milwaukee with a concentration in Voice Performance. She has been seen in roles such as Laurie Moss in Aaron Copland’s The Tenderland, Sister Dolcina in Puccini’s Suor Angelica, and Cinderella’s Mother/ Step Mother in UTSA’s production of Into the Woods.

During her time at UW-Milwaukee Aaliyah had the pleasure of being a Vitellia Shadow in their production of La Clemenza di Tito. She also premiered two roles as Captain Destinina in Light on the Water, and Lily in Echo ascension: Her Voice is Heard in their Spring 2020 productions. 

 

Aaliyah traveled to Verona, Italy to perform partial roles and scenes in Opera Viva’s summer program as Alice in Falstaff. She performed with Spotlight on Opera in San Marcos, TX in their scenes program as Cleopatra in Giulio Cesare and Hero in Béatrice and Bénédict. Ms. Schoclet been a featured soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Fauré’s Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Schubert’s Magnificat. Aaliyah cannot wait to work with and meet all of her new students in voice and piano!
